Shipping & Returns FAQ's
Below are some answers to FAQs about orders & shipping.
We ship all NZ orders via GoSweetSpot. Delivery is usually handled by NZ Post or Post Haste, depending on your location.
Delivery Timeframes
Orders usually arrive within 2–4 working days, but rural addresses may take a little longer. If it’s been more than 5 days and your parcel hasn’t shown up, flick us a message.
We pack orders promptly and aim to dispatch within 24 hours of purchase, though this depends on when your order comes through. Our rural location means couriers often only collect once a day, so sometimes parcels miss the day's pickup and go out the next working day. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays ship the next business day.
Shipping Costs
Free shipping for all NZ orders over $150
UNDER $150:
- Metro: $10
- Rural: $15
(Your address type is based on your postcode, as defined by the courier provider.)
Missing Parcels
While rare, parcels can sometimes go astray. If yours hasn’t arrived, we’ll follow up directly with GoSweetSpot and the courier to try to track it down. This process can take a few days, but rest assured we’ll be doing everything we can to get it sorted.
If your parcel is confirmed missing, we’ll refund your purchase in full.
We recommend using a delivery address where someone can receive the parcel in person. Unfortunately, we can’t take responsibility for parcels marked as ‘delivered’ but left unattended at your property.
Yes, we do ship internationally, but it’s on a case-by-case basis.

- A phone number we can pass to the courier
We'll send back a shipping quote and timeframe based on your location.
Duties & Customs
International orders may be subject to local customs charges, import duties or taxes. These aren’t included in our shipping fees and will be your responsibility to pay on arrival.
If your order includes a pre-order item, we’ll hold everything and ship the lot once it's all in stock.
Want your in-stock items sooner? Place a separate order for the pre-order item and we’ll send each shipment individually.
PO Boxes: We can’t deliver to PO Boxes. Please provide a physical address.
Delivery Instructions: You’re welcome to leave instructions at checkout. We recommend choosing a delivery address where someone can sign for the parcel.
Re-delivery Costs: If your parcel gets returned to us due to incorrect address info or a failed delivery, the cost to resend it is at your expense.
Returns
Below are some answers to FAQs about returns and exchanges.
We want you to love what you ordered, but if it’s not quite right, here’s how we handle returns:
Timeframe
You’ve got 14 days from when your order arrives to return or exchange it, provided the item is unworn, in original condition, and has all tags still attached.
How to Start a Return
Just email us at hello@gatheredcollab.co.nz with your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return. We'll walk you through the next steps.
Please send returns promptly after getting in touch. The quicker it’s back with us, the quicker we can process your exchange or refund.
Sale Items
Sale items are final sale and can’t be returned or exchanged.
Gift Exchanges
Items purchased with a gift exchange card can’t be exchanged for cash. If you don’t find something suitable at the time, we’ll issue you an in-store credit to use later.
Return postage is at your own cost, unless the item is faulty or we've made a mistake. If your parcel is returned due to failed delivery, we’ll need to charge shipping again to send it back out.

If something’s not right, like faulty stitching or a wrong item, email us straight away at hello@gatheredcollab.co.nz. We'll either replace it, refund it, or sort something else that works for you, in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act.
