Feel empowered by the captivating figure of the Parker. Bolder than ever, and here to make an almighty statement.

Bored Georges latest bio-degradable range is made from M49 Bio-Acetate. It is classed as bio-degradable due to its degree of biodegradation (90%) after an incubation time of no more than 6 months.

We also protect your b·g’s by giving you a sleek bored·george hard case and a protective soft case for your sunglasses to live in when not being worn.

Designed in NZ

Materials & Features

  • Bored George sunglasses are crafted using a specific bio-degradable plant-based acetate called M49 manufactured in the Mazzucchelli factory in Milan, Italy. Acetate is derived from materials such as sustainably sourced wood pulp and cotton. When manufactured, acetate’s natural colour is embedded into the material itself as opposed to coated, which makes it unparalleled to most other plastics. It is also of strong, lightweight and flexible nature, which makes it incredibly resilient in structure.
  • Bored George uses premium 7-barrel stainless steel hinges on our Parkers, providing both unrivaled durability.
  • All of the frames are fitted with featherweight TAC lenses, and most importantly, our lenses are polarized with 100% UVA protection.
